About the event
Taking place inside Bateman's house, this hands on workshop will guide you through the art of woodblock printing to design and create your own Christmas themed cushion cover.
You will begin by selecting from a collection of beautifully hand carved Indian woodblocks and a vibrant palette of paint colours. Experimenting with layouts on a paper template before hand-printing your design onto a white cotton tea towel to take home and enjoy.
Whether you are a complete beginner and new to block printing, Sarah will guide you through the process with all materials provided.
£50 per person includes admission to Batemans house and gardens and refreshments on arrival.
A second identical workshop takes place in the afternoon from 1.30-3.30pm.
