As part of this years Hurst arts festival join Sarita at Hurstworks for an evening workshop where you will design and print your own cushion cover choosing from a wide selection of hand-carved Indian Woodblocks.

About the event
Hosted by Printmaker Sarah of ‘Sarita Prints Joy’ you will be inspired to hand print your own cushion cover using her extensive collection of handcarved Indian woodblocks. Sarah will demonstrate how to print effectively using woodblocks and give tips for design, colour and layout before you plan and practice your own design on a square paper template. There will then be ample time for you to hand print the design onto a 50x50cm cream cushion cover to take home and enjoy.
