Immerse yourself in creativity this spring at the beautiful Borde Hill Garden in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
Your workshop experience begins with freshly brewed coffee and delicious biscuits served in the light-filled Garden Marquee — the perfect setting to ease into a relaxed, inspiring morning.
Under the gentle guidance of Sarita, you’ll enjoy a live demonstration of the traditional art of woodblock printing using her exquisite collection of hand-carved Indian blocks. You’ll then have the opportunity to experiment on paper, exploring patterns, colours, and combinations until you feel confident with your design.
Once you’ve created a paper template you love, you’ll move on to printing your final piece: a 50×50cm cream cotton cushion cover. With a vibrant paint palette and a curated selection of beautiful woodblocks to choose from, you’ll craft a unique, handmade cushion to take home — a one-of-a-kind piece filled with creativity and charm.
