About the event
Immerse yourself in creativity at Borde Hill (Haywards Heath West Sussex) this Christmas season. Taking place inside the main house, this hands on workshop will guide you through the art of woodblock printing to design and print a festive gift sack (ideal for leaving out for Father Christmas) and a tote bag that would make an ideal gift.
You'll begin by selecting from a beautiful selection of hand-carved Indian woodblocks and vibrant paint palette to experiment with pattern and design on a paper template before progressing onto printing onto the sack and bag. We will have a set of alphabet blocks at the ready should you wish to add a personal name to your sack, making it an ideal gift for a special child or friend this Christmas.
Suitable for anyone who enjoys a new craft as at each stage of the process there will be a demonstration.
