Join Sarita in this morning workshop where you will print your own linen panel of fabric using Sarita's extensive collection of handcarved Indian woodblocks. Once you have perfected your design on a paper template you will print it onto a linen panel that will transform into a gathered lampshade.

Block Print Your Own Skirt Lampshade Workshop
Create a fun and beautifully unique skirted lampshade — perfect for adding warmth and personality to a bedside lamp or a cosy corner of your home.
Join Sarah of Sarita Prints Joy for a relaxed and inspiring morning exploring colour, pattern, and traditional block printing techniques. You’ll begin by experimenting with designs on paper before moving on to printing your chosen pattern onto a panel of white cotton/linen fabric
Using a stunning selection of hand-carved Indian woodblocks from Sarah’s extensive collection, you’ll design your own pattern to print onto the fabric. Finally choose a colourful contrasting goss-grain ribbon to gather your pre-sewn lampshade panel and it sits on top of a small carrier shade that is available on the day for £5. This workshop is perfect for beginners and creatives alike.
