Join us for this new workshop where you will design and print a cotton tea towel using Indian woodblocks. The workshop takes place in the historic kitchen at Batemans and we are running one in the morning and afternoon (see link to National Trust website to book.)

About the event
Friday 24th April either 10.30am -12.30pm OR 1.30pm-3.30pm
Taking place inside Bateman's house, this hands on workshop will guide you through the art of woodblock printing to design and create your own block
printed cotton tea towel.
You will begin by selecting from a collection of beautifully hand carved Indian woodblocks and a vibrant palette of paint colours. Experimenting with layouts on a paper template before hand-printing your design onto a white cotton tea towel to take home and enjoy.
Whether you are a complete beginner and new to block printing, Sarah will guide you through the process with all materials provided.
£50 per person includes admission to Batemans house and gardens and refreshments on arrival.
